The integrity rowing machines are the air type if rowing machines, these machines are known for their smooth action, good monitors, easy to vary and track the intensity of your workout. The only drawback of these machines is that the chain comes off the track easily if handle is knocked out of the rack. It is a very good rowing machine but it can’t match the gym quality. You have to reset the chain on the gear occasionally, but that’s the only drawback that this machine has and if you are opting this machine then you have to make up your mind to live with it. The track length of the machine is quite comfortable and accommodates most of the people with a varied leg length. You should not find it at all difficult to assemble, with the exception of the resistance cord and chain, which takes some significant hand and arm strength to pull into place and hook together. The Integrity rowing machine is very solid and well made, does not rock or shift while you are using it, and you would not see any of the parts breaking like some cheap rowing machines that break at the welds, this one is not going to do that as it is has a robust construction.
The monitor on the rowing machine is quite adorable that tracks how long you have been working out, the speed, and the miles covered. It also shows calories burned. However, the movement of the machine is very smooth, and the breeze from the flywheel is very pleasant and it does not feel odd like the other machines available in the market. The harder you row, the higher the resistance, so it’s easy to regulate the workout, especially when the speed monitor is on and you can see how fast/hard you are pulling, stroke by stroke, and maintain a steady level of effort. You can get a very good workout on this with a minimum of pain. It does take some attention if you don’t row correctly, you can hurt yourself, especially your lower back, but you may find good instructions on the Internet for proper form and may not have to face any problems. It is advisable to go to a coach for first couple of weeks to avoid all of the injuries and to get a proper training for your daily workouts.
The long leg can be folded up and pinned to store it. The flywheel is so large that it’s not something you could easily stuff in an average closet, and the machine is heavy enough that it is required to pull it across the floor. One more drawback is that the handle sets into a simple rest when you are not using it, with the chain still somewhat extended. If it is knocked out of the rest, the handle pulls up against the gear cover, and the chain often falls off the gear inside the cover. You have to pull hard on the chain underneath with one hand to get some slack while you fiddle it back onto the gear inside the cover with your other hand, which is a pain in the neck.

Hello,
I am hoping someone might be able to help me on a quest for a specific type of rower. I had a membership in the past with Ballys. Years ago, the club used to have a rowing machine that had video monitors with a computer. You could set duration and the difficulty level, and the computer would generate another rower that would compete with you.
I’m looking for one of these machines. Hopefully someone can tell me the type of machine or model number so that I can google and find one. Or perhaps someone would know where I might get one of those rowers or something similar?
Please help me if you can. My email address is: mtm@americatheproud.com
Thanks,
Michael McKittrick
